Step 1: Make Your Imprint
Use the specially formulated wax to make a personal imprint with fingerprint, paw print, or sentimental textures.

Step 2: Register & Return
Register and submit your details with the instructions from the kit and Maison Mugen will arrange a free courier pick up to collect your wax imprint to their studio for casting.

Step 3: Receive Your Heirloom
Your imprint will be casted in the precious metal of your choice. Once ready, it will be shipped right to your doorsteps, ready to wear or as gift.

How do I make an imprint?

Simply follow the step-by-step instructions: soften the impression wax, press your chosen imprint, secure it in the jar, and return it using the provided mailer. The studio will then cast your imprint into jewellery.

Is it safe to make impressions of a baby’s fingerprint?

Yes, the impression wax included is skin-safe and designed to be gentle for making prints from babies, children, or adults.

What if I make a mistake with the imprint?

Each kit includes a specially formulated wax that’s soft, skin-safe, and designed to capture incredibly fine details like fingerprints. The wax is fully reusable and can be gently warmed and reshaped until you’re happy with your final imprint.

How long does the final process take for casting?

Once your imprint is received, the casting and finishing process usually takes several weeks. Timing may vary based on the jewellery type and material selected.

Can you share a photograph of my gift box prior to sending it?

You'll receive two email updates: one confirming your order has been scheduled for delivery, and another to let you know when your order has been delivered. In addition, our driver will contact the recipient on the morning of the delivery to arrange a convenient time for delivery.
